In 2008, PRODATA MOBILITY BRASIL started to supply the electronic ticketing solution in the Metropolitan Region of Recife, operated by the Union of Passenger Transport Companies in the State of Pernambuco (URBANA-PE), this system uses Contactless Smart Cards technology, allowing users to integrate time and tariffs between the lines in the Metropolitan Region of Recife and also with the Metro lines (CBTU/METROREC) which serves approximately 1.8 million people per day.

The Electronic Ticketing System has around 3100 validators and approximately 2 million transactions are carried out per day.
