Campinas

Campinas is the first city in Brazil to operate with PROCLOUD, PRODATA’s ABT cloud-based electronic ticketing system.

One of the first electronic ticketing systems in Brazil was implemented by PRODATA MOBILITY BRASIL in the city of Campinas in 1997, using a magnetic card. TRANSURC is the operator of the electronic ticketing system in the city and uses MIFARE Contactless Smart Card technology.

Currently, 1300 validators with QR Code technology are in operation on Campinas buses, which carry out approximately 2.3 million daily transactions.
