Electronic Ticketing System
Concept
Ticketing is a means of payment, used worldwide in mobility, allowing the purchase of travel credits, which are reserved mainly on cards (MIFARE Model).
It is an integrated hardware and software solution developed by PRODATA MOBILITY BRASIL for its users and implemented to control and manage the collection of fares in the public passenger transport system, with the aim of building loyalty, providing security and reducing fraud.
Electronic ticketing can be applied in various urban mobility systems, for example, public transport networks for urban and/or metropolitan passengers by bus, medium and large-capacity public transport networks such as BRT, BRS, VLT, Metro, Trains , Ferry boats, as well as medium and long-distance collectives (Interstate).

PROCLOUD
PROCLOUD is PRODATA MOBILITY BRASIL’s ABT solution, developed from the most modern technologies available to implement Automatic Fare Collection and Ticketing for public transport. The solution enables seamless travel between various forms of transport, between different operators and even between different cities or regions. A much more practical and easier system for managing and reloading credits, which is stored in the cloud and the user manages himself using his ID, eliminating the need for a physical card.

Sales Network
PRODATA MOBILITY BRASIL has developed solutions that allow the commercialization of electronic credits for public passenger transport in its sales network in an agile and safe way.
Its functionalities allow access to the purchase of all types of electronic credits, to be used in ticketing systems (transportation vouchers, advance passes, as well as the validation of web recharges).
Its technological format has a messaging service called Message Broker, fully integrated into the Credit Manager System – SCM (Security Credit Manager), which guarantees access security between the sales system and the cards.
Allowing independent networks to work with the SCM for the request and management of all electronic credits, thus making it possible to load electronic credits on the system’s cards. The sales network is conceptualized by an organization that carries out operations linked to a POS (Point of Sales) terminal in a set of credit sales and recharge terminals.

Payment options
ABT
It is a ticketing system based on a user account allocated in the “cloud”, where the user will use his account ID (mobile phone, ID card) as a payment method and the credits will be debited directly from the users account. This means of payment brings benefits such as ease of account management, credits and tickets, low maintenance and operation costs and high convenience for users.
QR CODE
The QR Code solution proposed by PRODATA MOBILITY BRASIL has staggered control, where the distribution of credits will be done through the points of sale that will be connected to the “NETSALES” (transactional sales switch) that will be responsible for all the management and registration of sales credits available in the SCM “Secure Credit Manage”. For this new implementation, it will be necessary to update the modules, in view of the new operating model and the systemic adjustments, which determined the controls and will ensure the staggering of requests for the issuance and sale of credits for this new modality. This solution was implemented by PRODATA MOBILITY BRASIL in 1300 validators on buses in the city of Campinas.
EMV
It is a security standard for payment cards created by Europay, MasterCard and Visa. Adding reliability to transactions and facilitating debit and credit payments. Our validators are technically suitable for this technology, accepting payments with MasterCard, Visa (credit and debit), Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Santander Way cards, which the user can use to release access to terminals and public transport.
NFC
NFC (Near Field Communication) technology is a form of interaction between two devices, which allows the exchange of information wirelessly and without contact. It works by approaching NFC-enabled devices within a short distance. Public transport users can use their NFC-enabled smartphones to pay for their fare. For transport operators, NFC brings benefits such as reduced operating costs and protection against fraud and ticket evasion. This technology is already widely used in Europe in countries such as Germany and England. In Brazil, NFC is already being used in cities like São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
MIFARE
MIFARE technology consists of a card with a small memory chip and an internal antenna that recognizes the approach of the reader through a magnetic field identified by the card’s frequency. By not needing to contact the reader, the MIFARE card suffers less wear than a contact card. The extremely secure encryption of the MIFARE card prevents unauthorized access to stored data, bringing benefits such as fraud reduction and reduction of mechanical failures. This technology is widely used in public transport cards, such as the Bilhete Único in São Paulo.
Wi-Fi
PRODATA MOBILITY BRASIL has developed an embedded solution to make Wi-Fi available for free, providing information and comfort to users.
Software built into the engineered embedded platform makes it possible to control, manage and analyze the behavior of all connected active devices.
The great advantage of this software is to allow real-time control, such as possible failures, communication, users, chips and other diagnostics, being possible to block sites and applications, in the same way it allows the parameterization of the entire connection (speed, traffic and users).
Since August 2015, the city of São Paulo has 800 buses with Wi-Fi technology for passengers, offering a safe, authenticated and quality connection.
Interoperability
The interoperability of systems from different suppliers is maintained by PRODATA MOBILITY BRASIL, as well as implemented standards, system architectures, respecting standards that meet everyone’s needs.
PRODATA MOBILITY BRASIL’s electronic ticketing system is prepared to interoperate with several models from other suppliers. Understanding between all involved is essential to preserve existing structures and architectures during migration.
Fleet Monitoring
Once again innovating, PRODATA MOBILITY BRASIL launched new tools for operational monitoring of fleets, which will remodel the management of activities in public passenger transport companies, with a great differential: the collectives will be connected – online, allowing to change/reschedule the speed, routes and even suspend trips.
These benefits, from real-time management, with centralized traffic control, allowing these strategies a preventive and corrective management and safety actions.
